On Wednesday 18th April, 8 girls from our netball squad took part in a High 5 girls’ netball tournament at Our Lady St Chad Catholic Academy. They played 7 games lasting 8 minutes each and rotated positions, meaning everyone had a go at different roles, including time keeping and keeping score! The girls played brilliantly and after winning 4 games, drawing 1 and losing 2, they came 3rd place overall! Well done girls!
This afternoon Year 4 were lucky enough to have the opportunity to participate in a fencing workshop. The children enjoyed learning the techniques required within the sport.

The boys team came second overall and the girls came second too.

On March 22nd six children (Cameron Tyrel, Bobby, Theo, Malakai and Jared) from Elston Hall competed in a 5 a-side football competition at Wolves Dome, Compton and qualified for the finals after winning all their group games without conceding a single goal. Not only are we proud of the boys for playing well as a team but they also represented the school well by showing respect and humility. The finals will take place next Wednesday at 1pm.

On Saturday 27th January a group of children represented Elston Hall at the Cross country relays. It was a tough course at Tettenhall College however, our children completed the course extremely well. The boys A team won gold medals as they came in first place. The girls A team closely followed in second place with silver medals. Well done to all those that participated and we would like to thank the parents for their support on the day.
