Well done to the netball team on their first game. Despite a 4-2 loss, the team were fantastic and are a credit to the school.

We had an exciting visit from Severn Trent. The children learnt some fascinating facts on how our tap water is created from river water and how waste water is cleaned to be put back into the river. The children then learnt ways that adults and children can reduce the amount of water they use and know the importance of saving water!
A Police Community Support Officer visited Year 1. She taught us about strangers and safe strangers, for example police offers, shop keepers, lollipop people, security and fire fighters. We learnt what to do if we got lost. PCSO Trudi gave us lots of tips on how to stay safe, for example, having our adult's phone number in our pockets. We had a great morning and look forward to Trudi's next visit.

We have a number of lunchboxes and school uniform in our lost property left over from last term. If you think your child has lost something at school last term, come to the main entrance at 3.20pm any day this week and you will be able to look through the lost property. Any items that have not been collected by the time school closes on Friday will be donated to a charity.
Happy New Year!
We hope you have had an enjoyable Christmas and look forward to seeing the children safely back in school on Tuesday 8th January 2019.
Thank you for your continued support.
All staff wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
What a 'fabuleux' day we had!
Children spent the day learning French words, singing French songs, having lessons from specialist French teachers, tasting French food, making French Christmas cards and participating in French sports!
Children in Year 4 and Year 5 had a fantastic time visiting space and going back in time to the Vikings!
Children thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas Lunch and they all looked amazing in their festive jumpers!
We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the Primary Science Quality Mark!
The Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) is a nationally recognised award to develop and celebrate the quality of science teaching and learning in primary schools.
This is a fantastic achievement for the school and we are extremely proud of all of the hard work that both the staff and pupils have put into the development of Science in school.
