Year 4 welcomed the Fire service to inform us about fire safety. We learnt what we should do to prevent a fire such as fitting smoke alarms and closing our doors when we go to bed. Also we learnt what to do if we were in a situation where fire was present.
The Area Cross Country Races will now be held at Tettenhall College on Saturday 27th January.

On 22nd January, twenty-one dancers from three Trust schools (Elston Hall, Palmers Cross and Edward the Elder Primary Schools) competed in the regional heats of the Great Big Dance Off at Birmingham's Alexandra Theatre. Pupils performed their dance 'Faded', choreographed beautifully by dance teacher Miss Jones. Pupils worked extremely hard to perfect the dance and produced a stunning performance! Despite not getting a place in the final, staff and parents are extremely proud of how well pupils performed. More importantly, it has been wonderful to see friendships blossom between pupils from different Trust schools. Well done dancers - you were outstanding and did us all proud!
Elston Hall athletics team made it through to the Wolverhampton City Final!
At the Final the top 8 schools out of 77 schools across Wolverhampton competed together in various track and field events.
Out of the 8 teams Elston Hall finished in 3rd place, winning bronze medals. Well done to our athletics team and I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone that came to support us. This means that we will now represent our borough at the 2018 Black Country School Games Festival in June.
The first trip of 2018 and what an amazing trip it was! The choir were lucky enough-yet again-to attend Young Voices at the Genting Arena in Birmingham, where they joined 6,000 other children in an incredible performance for friends and family. The performances were brilliant and the atmosphere was truly electric! The children have been working hard since September to learn many new songs and it was lovely to see them enjoy the night and join in with other schools. A massive thank you to parents who were able to join us in the evening and joined in the fun and entertainment of the night. A truly magical and spectacular night had by all! Well done Choir!
