Elston Hall School Council is a group of pupils that represent the voice of all pupils.
They listen to suggestions and ideas that are of importance to their peers and the good of the school.
We have an active School Council which comprises of representatives from Year 2 and Key Stage 2 year groups. They are elected annually by their classmates.
School councillors work together within their team and form links with their class, year group, staff, whole school and community to enhance, make changes or support fundraising events.
Their suggestions make a positive contribution to the school's continual development.
School Council held their first formal meeting in September and elected 6 pupils to represent Nursery, Reception and Year 1.
School Council arrangeed for Elston Hall to support the Marie Curie Cancer Appeal. Daffodils were sold in school throughout March at a suggested donation of 50p.
Well done to our school council who organised Red Nose Day, they did an amazing job! By selling cakes and organising raffles, school council helped to raise £1051.00 for this worthwhile cause. Thank you very much for all of your kind donations.
Through the organisation of School Council, Elston Hall supported this event on Friday 21st October. Children came to school wearing wacky socks and made a donation to this worthwhile cause! Thank you for your support. We have never seen so many odd, colourful and inside out socks!
