Year 6 will be enjoying a residential trip to Brecon Beacons between 11th and 15th June 2018.
See below for exciting updates during our visit.
To start off with, we had to go on a long coach journey. Because everyone was extremely excited some people found the journey tiring and got quite agitated as it was so warm. When we got there we had a quick tour of the site and got into our glamping huts with our roommates and sorted all of our luggage out. After around half an hour of free time, we went on our amazing adventures. We found out our groups and went off to do a fun but challenging activity. As the weather was kind to us we have been lucky to have a great afternoon. One group did raft building and absolutely enjoyed it despite getting wet. One of the other groups did canoeing and worked as a team showing great perseverance. The final group did zip wiring and gladiator it was tricky at times but all worthwhile. All groups represented our school phenomenally.
We returned to the camp site for a bit of free time before our dinner. Can’t wait to see what it is!
