Year 5 Visit to the Space Centre

The children put all of their learning so far from our Mission Control topic to good use and went on a trip to the National Space Centre, Leicester.

They had time to look around the centre and take in all of the interesting facts including visiting the rocket tower. They also watched a fantastic show in the planetarium and finally took part in a Mars Rover Workshop. Programming a lego rover to complete different missions such as going around a piece of 'Mars rock' and getting close to alien life. Everyone had a fantastic day!
