Children in Reception had a wonderful time at Statfold Barn Railway. They loved seeing all of the old steam trains and finding out about the role of a station master before taking a ride on a real steam train! The children couldn't believe it when the engine uncoupled at the front and then recoupled at the other end. Children also burnt off steam in the brilliant, train themed soft play area which they thoroughly enjoyed. A fantastic day was had by all!
